9/15/2023 0 Comments Rimworld switch campYou need to test if vanilla maps no mods work. Almost everything on the map is mentioned until the spam limit kicks in at the bottom. It would seem to have lost the relationship between the files it expects and where they are. Second log is catastrophic failure of the game to be able to create most objects graphically. Pick up and Haul is mentioned before the errors twice but that could be a red herring. Hopefully this first ever playthrough wasn't for nothing □□ What just doesn't make sense to me is I was playing fine for about 3 hours, then I take an hour and a half break, came back, and everything is broken. Regarding your second reply, maybe I didn't do it correctly, but when I tried to roll my version back too the "Previous" version it still didn't work with that mod. I directed him to this form so hopefully he can help me out with this same information. I noticed some error regarding "moving base" which I assume was due to removing the Home Mover mod, considering that's kinda what it did and I did have plans queued for my colonist to do so.Īnyways, I commented on the workshop page and he said it was working fine with other mods though. Maybe you can see something that I can't that's still not right, but the game seems to be fine after: Here is the log after removing JUST the Home Mover mod and leaving the other 29~ in. I found that Home Mover by NotooShabby was the one causing the catastrophic error. I notice something about the Stacks XXL mod so I decided to spend some time going through taking out and adding back my mods one by one. I verified integrity of the game files and all seems okay there (if that's what you meant by a repair). As far as I can tell my mods and game are up to date. BTW I also want to add that did not delete/change/turn off/add anything during or after my playthrough. Hi there! In regards to your first reply, no. So roll back the game to one patch prior to fix the issue until all the modders managed to fix the problem. Multiple mods are reporting similar missing graphic issues. Your help is greatly appreciated! This is my first ever playthrough of the game and I don't want those 90hrs to go down the drain. I would love to show you the mods I'm using cause I'm sure that would help, however, I have no idea how. I have no idea what any of them mean but here are the links to them: I turned on developer mode to gather the logs and load into the game, and it's just a wall of red "Could not" error codes. I have about 30 or so mods install but have been playing with them for over 90hrs total with no problems. It's incredibly laggy and when I do the UI and colonist icons rapidly strobe in and out. The only thing I can seem to do is move the camera with WASD but just barely. Not even Esc works, I had to Alt + F4 to get out. Not paused time, I mean I can't click anything, move the camera with the mouse, and the UI is gone. Long story short: I was in the middle of a long play session, needed to exit the game for a while for unrelated reasons, and when I loaded up my save again the whole game was frozen. Have at it.I hoping someone here can help me. If or when those improvements will arrive is anyone's guess, given the mod page also says that Yayo is going to work on their own game instead for the next 5 months, but there's already more than enough to play with. I already get Dungeon Keeper vibes from how it looks now, but the ability to see through pawn's eyes would seal the deal. The Steam Workshop page linked above suggests there are more features planned, including a "pawn first person view", free cam, visual improvements and a sky texture. The video above shows it running smoothly and looking great during intense combat, too, with lasers pinging everywhere.Īlthough there's no freelook, there's an options menu that lets you fiddle with the camera settings to change the FOV, tilt, draw distance and more. You have to move the camera with WASD rather than the mouse once in 3D mode, but it works as a new way to tour and admire the world you're building. Once installed, you can press "hotkey 0" in-game to switch between 3D mode and normal mode. Instead, the mod looks more like an early '90s first-person shooter, with a 3D world where the objects within it are angled 2D sprites. To be clear, it's not like every item in RimWorld has been suddenly replaced by a 3D model.
